I led the complete design, branding, and content strategy for an online retailer specializing in high-quality cinema posters. This project involved crafting a visually captivating e-commerce platform, creating custom imagery, and ensuring a seamless integration of artistic design and functional development through collaboration with experienced coders and web developers.

How My Role Contributed to the Project

Art Design and Visual Identity:
I conceptualized and implemented a bold and cohesive visual identity for the retailer, blending the nostalgia of classic cinema with a modern design sensibility. From typography to layout and color palettes, I ensured every element reflected the artistic quality and authenticity of the posters. This design approach elevated the retailer’s brand message as a trusted source for premium cinema artwork.

Custom Imagery Creation:
Leveraging Adobe Creative Suite, I designed all the imagery featured on the website, including promotional banners, product showcases, and category visuals. Each piece was meticulously crafted to highlight the vibrancy and detail of the posters while maintaining consistency with the overall brand aesthetic. This creative effort ensured the website offered a gallery-like experience, enticing customers to explore and purchase.

Copywriting and Brand Messaging:
I rewrote and refined all website copy to align with the retailer’s brand identity, emphasizing their dedication to quality, authenticity, and artistic excellence. Product descriptions, promotional messages, and category introductions were crafted to engage customers while providing clear and concise information about the posters, their grading, and reproduction processes. The tone balanced professionalism with warmth, fostering trust and connection with the audience.

Cross-Team Collaboration:
I worked closely with experienced coders and web developers to ensure the website’s design and functionality complemented one another. This collaboration involved providing detailed design assets, overseeing implementation, and troubleshooting technical challenges to ensure the platform maintained its aesthetic integrity and user-friendly functionality.

E-Commerce Optimization:
I integrated features such as dynamic size guides, secure payment gateways, and global flat-rate shipping options, ensuring the website met both the practical needs of customers and the retailer’s operational goals.
